PRIVACY POLICY
As of May 2018 new Data Protection Laws have come into force, designed to protect us as individuals from having our personal data mis-used by large companies. Unfortunately, even small one-man-bands like me are also affected, meaning I now have to outline a few things regarding the personal data you will give me and how I will use it.
Personal Data
I'll need your names because thats how we as humans communicate.
I’ll also need your contact details (email address, phone number) in order to be able to contact you before, during and after the wedding day.
Your home address means I can send out your USB stick with all the lovely photos on it. The address of the wedding venue means I turn up at the right place.
I collect this data through the contact form on this website. It arrives in my password-protected inbox on my password-protected computer. I do not pass any of it onto third parties, nor do I send you marketing emails or junk. The form has a little box at the bottom for you to tick which gives me the permission to do all of this.
If you ask me I will delete all of your data once we no longer need to contact one another.
Personal Images
After shooting your wedding I will have lots of photos of you and your guests. These photos will obviously feature people’s faces etc. I will only use these images in the way implicitly implied by our contract, i.e. to give to you - I will not sell them on to third parties.
In the future I may ask you if I can use some of the images for promotional purposes - for example on a Wedding Blog. I will ask you first and you have the right to refuse, no hard feelings.
The images might also be used here on my blog or on my social media channels. This is a necessary part of business, but if you rather I didn’t use the images in this way please just let me know.
In summary - the data I collect is collected for good, necessary reasons and I will only use your data for the purposes outlined above. If you have any reservations you are more than welcome to get in contact and we can have a conversation.
